Ada girls fall to Cavs
By Cort Reynolds
ADA - The Ada girls soccer team lost a 6-1 contest to visiting Coldwater Saturday morning.
Ada fell to 2-9 overall with the non-league defeat.
Alivia Okuly scored the Lady Bulldog goal on an assist from Gizrem Tanriverdi.
Ada senior keeper Anney Archer made a career-best 29 saves in goal. The Cavaliers out-shot the Bulldogs, 35-15.
"We played a lot of defense," said Ada head coach Doug Poling. "We had a hard time stopping their speed up front, which they fed constant through balls to."
In search of their first home win of the season, Ada (1-2 NWC) hosts NWC foe Lincolnview (1-10, 1-4 NWC) Monday, October 2 at 5 p.m.
