Karen E Kindle, 1942 - 2017
Karen E. Kindle, age 75, died on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 12:15 a.m. at her daughter's residence in Lima.
She was born on October 12, 1942 in Alger, Ohio to Charles and Cleah "Billie" (Koontz) Burris who preceded her in death.
On December 3, 1960 Karen married James Richard Kindle and he preceded her in death on September 5, 2007.
Karen was a homemaker.
She was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and requests to have visitors wear their scarlet and gray.
She dearly loved her dog, Ginger.
Karen is survived by her five children: Robin Cottle of Lima, Jackie (Marty) Follis of Zephyrhills, FL, Brent (Beth) Kindle of Cincinnati, Blake (Karen) Kindle of Lakeside Park, KY and Bruce (Barbara) Kindle of Brunswick, GA; twelve grandchildren: Craig (Gretel) Joseph, Christopher (Fiance' Emily) Joseph, Amber (Thom) Blair, Alexandra (Joseph) Blaeser, Kort Kindle, Konner Kindle, Luke Kindle, Kes Kindle, Isabella Kindle, Leah Kindle, Chris Iannazzone and Kyle Iannazzone; two great grandchildren: Jacob Joseph and Trevor Joseph; two brothers: Doug (Sharon) Burris of Harrod and Rick (Tina) Burris of Alger; and two sisters: Bonnie Minix and Terri Bridenstine both of Alger.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry "Bucky" Burris; and three sisters: Marsha Murdock, Lois Cummings and Patricia Burris.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 21, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger with Pastor Ken VanHoose officiating.
Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 20, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger and until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, 1480 West Lane Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43221.
