Just treating as ONU honor students visit Vancrest
Photos and story by Monty Siekerman
Ada Vancrest residents Ralph and Patsy Worrell receive Halloween candy from ONU students who are members of the Honors Program.
The Worrells, originally from Lafayette, enjoyed the visit...and the goodies.
The Honor Students paid a visit to the Vancrest residents on Wednesday evening.
On Thursday night, the residents will play host to local ghosts and goblins during the community Halloween time from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Last year, which was the first Halloween for the new retirement, children of the community were given more than 200 pounds of candy. This year, Vancrest has a stockpile of more than 400 pounds of candy to be handed out to beggars.
