10th win in a row propels Ada into volleyball regionals
Presale tickets for Thursday night's regional semi-final volleyball match vs. New Washington Buckeye Central will be on sale beginning Monday in the high school office from 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Tickets are $6 if purchased in advance with a percentage of the sales going to the school. All tickets will be $8 at the door. One ticket will get you admission to both games. The game has a 6 p.m. start time with the doors opening at 5 p.m.

OTTAWA - The Ada volleyball team swept former league rival Lima Central Catholic 25-19, 25-15, 25-15 to win the Div. IV district title Thursday night at Ottawa-Glandorf.
With their 10th consecutive victory, the third-seeded Lady Bulldogs improved to 18-7. LCC was seeded fifth in the district.
Ada senior middle Melina Woods led the way with 29 kills, 15 digs, three aces and three blocks.
Senior setter Maddie Gossard dished out 23 assists, served three aces, made six digs and added one block.
Junior Raina England knocked down three kills and added seven digs.
Senior libero Olivia Alexander came up with 13 digs and senior defensive specialist Kaiti Newland added eight digs.
Sophomore Sidney Gossard doled out five assists and freshman Megan Light added four blocks.
The victory avenged a four-set loss at LCC on Sept. 21.
Ada advances to regional play in Elida, and is one of 16 teams still left in the Div. IV state tournament. Toledo Christian, Carey and New Washington Buckeye Central also made it to the regionals semifinals at Elida.
The Lady Bulldogs will face New Washington Buckeye Central (24-1) in the regional semis at Elida on Thursday, November 2 at 6 p.m. Second seed NWBC swept top seed Norwalk St. Paul 3-0 in the Willard district finals Thursday.
The Buckettes, champions of the Northern 10 Athletic Conference, took down St. Paul 25-17, 25-22, 25-20 at Willard. New Washington, population of just under 1,000, lies north of and between Bucyrus and Galion, about 15 miles north of those towns in Crawford County.
The winner advances to the regional finals Saturday, Nov. 4 at 2 p.m. against either Carey or Toledo Christian in Elida.
