You are invited to help start the Ada Historical Society
All of those interested in helping to start the Ada Historical Society are invited to meet at 6:30 p.m. on Monday at the Ada Public Library.
The group has met twice before and discussed a constitution, nonprofit status, elected three out of eight of the officers, and are considering a dues structure and other organizational matters. To be determined: projects and who will head them up. Your ideas are welcome.
So far, 13 people are involved in getting the Historical Society underway. They represent a good cross section of the community: young and old, longtime residents and newcomers, men and women, etc. Your input is welcome.
