Women win decisively in hardwood home-opener
Senior Courtney Cramer (Arcadia) poured in a career-high 21 points to the lead the No. 15-ranked Ohio Northern women's basketball team to an 88-49 victory over Case Western Reserve in the 2017-18 home-opener at the ONU Sports Center on Wednesday evening.
The Polar Bears improve to 4-1 overall, while the Spartans drop to 2-3 on the year.
Cramer led the way with a game-high 21 points, while shooting a perfect 3-for-3 from beyond the 3-point line, and added a game-high five assists and three steals.
Senior Amy Bullimore (Morrow/Little Miami) tallied 15 points and added a game-high eight rebounds, while senior Lindsey Black (Urbana/Graham) scored 12 points, added five assists and five rebounds.
The Polar Bears return to action on Saturday afternoon at 3 pm as they open Ohio Athletic Conference play and welcome OAC-foe Capital to the ONU Sports Center.
