So many soccer choices at BFR this winter
Five special soccer opportunities in addition to league play are available in January at Bluffton Family Recreation, according to Amy Byers, sports coordinator.
BFR’s winter session starts the week of Jan. 8, and registration is now underway. Persons can register by calling BFR at 419-358-4150 or by registering online at: www.bfronline.com
• A soccer skills class takes place Thursdays from 4: 30 to 5:30 p.m. for youth 14 and under. Mateo Bonifaz, BHS grad, is the class instructor.
• A soccer fun class takes place Mondays from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. for youth ages 4, 5 and 6. Sydney Staton, BHS grad and student at Bluffton University, is the class instructor.
Three other soccer opportunities are available this winter:
• U8 house indoor soccer league takes place Fridays at 6, 7 and 8 p.m. Youth may sign up and play games only – no practice.
• Open soccer is Wednesdays, from 4 to 6 p.m. for junior high and high school youth.
• Open soccer is Wednesdays, from 7 to 9 p.m. for adults.
