Ada police, fire-rescue, ambulance-EMT, and the sheriff were all on hand Wednesday afternoon for a send off to all Ada School students at dismissal for the Christmas-New Year's break.
Emergency personnel from the several agencies handed out candy canes near the north door while Santa (even the Grinch) and fire personnel were on hand for those who headed out the south door.
The send off was orchestrated by the counseling office.
Concert band members, just having entertained the Vancrest residents, hurried back to school to play Christmas music for those exiting the south door.
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Joyous Break, Happy New Year to all. Classes resume Wednesday, Jan. 3.
