Jon F. Urich, age 77, died on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 12:36 a.m. at Bridge Hopice Care Center, Findlay. 

          He was born on October 10, 1940 in Hardin County, Ohio to Bertram and Ivaleen (Epley) Urich who preceded him in death. 

          Jon grew up in Ada where for years his friendly mannerisms and enthusiasm for sports made him a loved and familiar sight around town.  He was proud of his lifetime pass to ONU athletic events.  He valued his friendships with ONU and Ada High School athletes, coaching staff, and with members of the County Line Church of the Brethren.

          A private family burial will take place at McElroy Cemetery, Ada, at a later date.
