Women’s Basketball: ONU 73, Muskies 66
NEW CONCORD — The No. 10-ranked Ohio Northern women's basketball team rallied from an 11-point halftime deficit to post a 73-66 victory at Muskingum on Saturday night at the Steele Center.
The Polar Bears (14-1 overall) run their winning streak to 14 games and stay perfect in the Ohio Athletic Conference with an 8-0 record, while the Muskies fall to 6-9, 2-6.
Senior Amy Bullimore (Morrow/Little Miami) scored 19 points, junior Jenna Dirksen(Beavercreek/Carroll) added 12 points and senior Courtney Cramer (Arcadia) chipped in 11 points for Ohio Northern.
Bullimore now ranks second all-time on ONU's all-time scoring list with 1,239 points and is just three points shy of tying Morgan Dumbaugh for the most points scored in Polar Bear history.
Bullimore also climbed within 30 caroms of becoming Northern's all-time leading rebounder with a 9-board effort.
The Polar Bears return to action on Wednesday evening as they travel to Heidelberg for a 7:30 pm contest.
