Lima ReStore seeks volunteers on two February Saturdays
Lima’s Habitat ReStore seeks volunteers to help move its showroom inventory on two February Saturdays.
The move is in preparation of having its retail floor refurbished, according to Mark Suderman of Bluffton, who serves as the store’s volunteer coordinator.
He said that student groups from Bluffton University and Ohio Northern University are among volunteers who have already signed up to assist.
Up to 50 volunteers are needed each morning and afternoon on both Saturdays, Feb. 17 and Feb. 24.
On the 17th inventory will be removed from the store. On the 24th inventory will be returned to the store.
“Volunteers will box, move, or return ReStore items from the showroom floor to storage or vice versa,” said Suderman.
Volunteers can work from 8 a.m. to noon or from 1 to 5 p.m., or both. Lunch will be provided for all morning and afternoon workers, 30 minutes before or after their session.
