What year are you at Ada High School?

I’m a senior.

Tell me about your crutches.

I’ve recently had reconstructive surgery on my right ankle. It was on Dec. 26 at Orthopedic Institute of Ohio in Lima. I’m glad I finally got it taken care of.

What are your plans after high school?

I’ve changed my mind a couple times, but I hope to attend Rhodes State in Lima and major in criminal justice. I’d like to eventually become an Ohio State Highway Patrol officer. I want to attend patrol academy after Rhodes. You attend the academy for five months and then become a trooper.

I understand you played football. Tell me about your best game ever.

Let’s see that would be last season (as a junior) against Delphos Jefferson. I’m a wide receive and middle linebacker. We were behind and they gave me the ball and I broke three tackles and scored a TD. We eventually won the game.

Certainly sounds like a game to remember. Let me ask you about music. How many music tunes are on your IPod?

Probably 500, tops, I honestly don’t know.

How long did it take you to collect that many?

Probably one or two years.

What’s your favorite type of music?

Rap. The most music I have is by Wiz Khalifa.

What music do you dislike the most?

Country.

If you could drive any vehicle you wanted – classic, foreign, American – what would it be?

Probably some type of Porsche or Lexis.

Tell me about your school locker.

It’s a mess. There are papers, candy wrappers, water bottles in it.

How much time do you spend in the weight room?

I lift three days a week after school. From one to one and one-half hours a day. At my peak, I’ve benched 300 pounds.

Tell me about your grades. What’s the worst grade you ever received? What’s your current grade point average?

Let’s see, I’ve never received anything below a D. My grade point average is 3.2.

What’s your favorite subject?

Probably history. It’s a like a story. Easy to understand.

What courses are currently enrolled in?

Sociology, Anatomy, French I (I took two years of Spanish), Algebra III, College Prep English and Personal Finance. I’m becoming a better writer by taking college prep.

Ever have a detention?

I think I was in the seventh grade. It was my fault. I was asking someone for an answer.

If there were any place in world you’d like to visit, where would that be?

Egypt. I’d like to see the pyramids.
