Tickets to the Ada Athletic Boosters reverse raffle are now on sale. The grand prize: $10,000.

Ms. Conley described how the proceeds from the 8th annual reverse raffle will be used to benefit athletes:

“The Boosters provide $30 to each junior and senior high athlete to help with the cost of shoes, shirts, or any other item that the coaches may request.  The Boosters have also been involved in helping with the renovation of the new training room by purchasing a new whirlpool for all athletes to use.  We are also involved in the process of installing batting cages at the park for the baseball and softball teams, purchasing a new timing system for the track and field teams, and will be looking at how we can help with the update of the pole vault pit.”

Tickets include a meal, door prizes, games and an auction on the night of the drawing, which will held at 6 p.m. p.m. on Saturday, April 7, at the Harrod Community Center. The holder of last ticket drawn is the grand prize winner.

The Athletic Boosters are looking for door prizes to give away throughout the night. The prizes can be an item or money. Individuals and businesses may donate by contacting Ms. Conley, the Booster treasurer, at the phone or email mention above or by mail to Lisa Conley, 610 Conley Ave., Ada.
