Chamber promotes community events
The Ada Area Chamber of Commerce wants the community to be aware of the events the chamber and its members are planning this spring for the community.
Heather Cox, chamber president, provided the Icon with the following list of several of those events.
• Saturday, April 14 – Ada Kiwanis Club annual pancake and sausage fundraiser from 7 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Ada High School cafeteria
• Friday, April 20 – Free coin appraisals at Liberty National Bank, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
• Saturday, April 21 – Start of the annual Ada Lions Club mulch sale
• Monday, April 30 - Ada Public Library grand re-opening party from 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
• Monday, April 30 – Saturday, May 5 – Annual Shred Week at Liberty National Bank
• Thursday, May 24 – Annual Community Health Professionals Beacon of Hope – Hospice dinner and charity auction starting at 6 p.m.
"The next chamber membership meeting is on Wednesday, April 18. We are having a meet and greet from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at The Inn at Ohio Northern University," said Cox. "Thank you to our sponsor The Ada Icon for providing snacks at that time."
