Men’s tennis now 13-8 after loss
ADRIAN, Mich. — Freshman Vinh Thai (Galloway/St. Charles) won twice to lead the Ohio Northern men's tennis team in a 6-3 non-conference loss at Adrian (Mich.) on Wednesday afternoon at Craft Tennis Complex.
The Polar Bears see their 4-match win streak snapped and fall to 13-8, while the Bulldogs improve to 9-9.
Thai won 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 singles and combined with freshman Hoang Do(Powell/Olentangy Liberty) to win 8-4 at No. 1 doubles.
Senior Cody Hurley (Centerville) won 3-6, 7-5, 10-3 at No. 5 singles for ONU.
The Polar Bears will wrap up their regular season on Saturday with a 1 pm match at non-conference foe Mount Vernon Nazarene.
