Women's swimming & diving falls at Case Western Reserve 175-123

The Ohio Northern women's swimming & diving team fell to Case Western Reserve by a 175-123 score on Saturday afternoon at Veale Natatorium.
Northern now stands at 7-6 on the season, while the Spartans improve to 7-9.
The Polar Bears has the top two finishers in the 100 backstroke.
Freshman Lindsey Inkrott touched first in 1:02.18 and freshman Allison Lohnes was second with a time of 1:02.90.
Inkrott also won the 200 backstroke in 2:15.97.
Senior Amy Elmer won the 1-meter diving, posting a score of 236.65, while sophomore Katherine Lorson was second with 167.80 points.
Elmer and Lorson also finished first and second in the 3-meter diving, posting scores of 230.90 and 164.45 respectively.
The Polar Bears were second in the 400 medley relay, when the team of junior Jennifer Hartsel, junior Jamie Garbash, sophomore Ashley Zoeller and Inkrott finished in 4:16.13.
Senior Mackenzie Hoffman was second in the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 11:30.14, while Hartsel finished second in the 100 backstroke in 1:11.62.
Hartsel also recorded a second place finish in the 200 IM, finishing in 2:23.37.
Senior Sarah Fiffick was second in the 100 freestyle and Garbash was second in the 100 butterfly with times of 55.94 seconds and 1:03.55 respectively.
In the 400 freestyle relay, freshman Abigail Barlage, Inkrott, Hoffman and Fiffick finished second in 3:47.37.
Ohio Northern returns to action on February 14-16 when it competes at the OAC Championships at the University of Akron.
