Ohio Northern University President Dr. Dan DiBiasio held a special ceremony for graduating seniors Leanna Henry (West Jefferson) and Miranda Huddle (Versailles) on Tuesday.

Henry and Huddle are members of the ONU softball team and missed the University's graduation ceremony on Sunday as they were competing in the NCAA III Notre Dame, Indiana Regional Tournament.

Ohio Northern reached the finals with victories over Case Western Reserve and No. 19-ranked Saint Mary's (Ind.) on Friday and Saturday, but were eliminated in the championship game on Sunday by Case.

Henry received her bachelor's degree in Psychology and Huddle earned her bachelor's degree in computer engineering.

The Polar Bears posted a 32-11 record, were 13-5 in the OAC, won the Conference Tournament and advanced to the finals of the Notre Dame, Indiana Regional tournament in 2018 under second-year head coach Jackie Price.
