The Ada High School 1919 football team was undefeated, but tied one game, their last one with Defiance.
The team that year was a powerhouse on defense, holding every opponent scoreless until that last game.
The Ada team whipped first Findlay, 6-0, then Van Wert 45-0, followed by Bluffton 53-0, Sidney 45-0, Delphos 53-0; Kenton 52-0, and Van Wert again 6-0.
Then along came the final game with Defiance, and a 7-7 score spoiled both their undefeated hopes, as well as their ‘unscored upon’ status.
