St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 125 S. Johnson, serves a free community meal from 5-6:30 p.m. the last Wednesday of the month. Church members have provided this service for several years. (Editor’s note—Although not a food critic, they invited me to stay to eat and I found the food delicious and a well-balanced diet.).
