Here’s the Boots for Bulldogs story
Three mothers, Kristin Purdy, Hillary Buxton and Amanda Henson, are spearheading a project called Boots for Bulldogs for the Ada Schools.
Their goal is get the Boot safety barricade device and rapid response room placards purchased and installed throughout the Ada schools.
The purpose is to increase the safety for children, teachers and staff.
The school system has instituted several policies and procedures to make the school campus as safe as possible.
The Boots for Bulldogs adds another level of safety for each classroom.
Simplicity is the Boots strength. It can be put in place on a classroom door at a moment’s notice by anyone of any age.
In addition, the program includes rapid response placards, which are 3D, reflective and visible regardless of hall length. This assures immediate response whether advising a parent, student, visitor, or tactical response team of a room number.
