JoAnn Eikenbary, 1933 - 2018
JoAnn Eikenbary age 84, died on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 11:25 a.m. at Vancrest of Ada.
She was born December 14, 1933 in Wyandot County, Ohio to the late Norman “Bud” and Esther (Parsell) Harris. On December 22, 1961 she married Charles “Pody” Eikenbary and he died June 1, 1994.
JoAnn previously worked as a bank teller for Community First Bank of Forest for over 15 years. She was a 1951 graduate of Forest High School. JoAnn was a member of the Dola Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are her daughters: Kathy (Kenneth) Curtis of Wharton, Ohio and Lori (Chris) Schimmoeller of Ottoville, Ohio; four grandchildren: Shane (Christy) Curtis, Angela Allen, Krista (fiance Adam Thompson) Schimmoeller and Kara Schimmoeller; four great grandchildren: Micheala Curtis, Zoey Curtis, Kruz Curtis and Damien Sigler.
She was preceded in death by: a great granddaughter: Sierra Sigler; one brother: Gary Harris and two sisters: Betty Jean Harris and Marjorie Swanson.
A graveside service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 29, at Dola Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Joe Thomas officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contribution can be made to Dola Presbyterian Church and/or Putnam County Hospice.
