Lady Bulldogs Butterfield, Hissong named 1st team All-NWC

DELPHOS - Two Ada girls soccer players were voted first team All-Northwest Conference in balloting by the league coaches at Delphos recently.
Junior forward Katie Butterfield and sophomore fullback Brenna Hissong were named first team all-league. Butterfield led Ada in scoring while Hissong was a top defender.
Bulldog senior defensive midfielder Hailey Callahan was named second team all-conference.
Ada junior midfielder Bella East and junior forward/goalkeeper Ella Poling, and freshman forward Timber Blankenship were all voted honorable mention All-NWC.
Junior Kelsey Shaffer of Spencerville was voted the Northwest Conference Player of The Year. Spencerville won the league title with a 5-0-1 record, led by NWC Coach of the Year Kathy Goecke.
Ada finished fifth in the seven-team NWC with a 2-3-1 mark. Allen East came in third at 3-1-2.
AE seniors Kinsey Helser, Gabby Scott and Ally Richardson were voted first team All-NWC. Mustang senior Lauren Criblez and junior Olivia Silone were named second team all-league.
AE juniors Julia Meyer, Tori Newland and Abby Garver each earned honorable mention notice.
