Pumpkin artists

Eli Anderson, 5, and sister Abbey, 8, were among the winners of the pumpkin decorating contest sponsored by the Ada Public Library on Saturday. Clouds cover Eli’s pumpkin while Abbey painted a unicorn on hers. In the next photo: Max McCrory, 8, was also a winner. Not only did he carve a sad pumpkin, Max accompanied his entry with a book (appropriate for a library contest) titled “Slappy is not Happy.” (Monty Siekerman photos)
