Sheriff's Office investigating fatal Kenton accident
The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal injury crash that occurred in Kenton just before 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 21.
A car driven by Kikuko T. Hollan, 87, of Kenton, was traveling east on East Espy Street when it crossed over South Wayne Street into the driveway of a residence at 501 S. Wayne St. There the vehicle crashed into a tree.
Ms. Hollan was extricated from the vehicle and transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital by BKP Ambulance, where she later succumbed from her injuries.
The sheriff’s office was assisted at the scene by the BKP Ambulance, Kenton Fire Department and Minich’s Towing.
