Ada chamber keeps growing - membership at 78
Several Ada Area Chamber of Commerce-related events are on the community calendar this month, according to Heather Cox, chamber board president.
These were announced at the April 3 chamber board meeting.
The chamber’s monthly breakfast meetings have out-grown their Vancrest meeting room. Meeting are now at the Ada Public Library. The next meeting is at 8 a.m., Wednesday, April 17. Breakfast will be provided. The meeting is open to anyone interested in joining the chamber.
Deb Curlis, chamber director, announced that the chamber now has 78 members and it continues to gain members.
Although the Harvest and Herb Festival is several months away (it’s Saturday, Sept. 21), 21 booths are already signed up for the event. Vendors have until May 1 to register for a booth at the $35 level. The price increases after that.
A vendor booth registration form is on the chamber website at www.adachamber.org. The website lists all the current information about this year’s festival.
Junior Weihrauch, parade director, says he is working on putting together a 100-unit parade for the festival. A parade entry form is also on the website.
