Bulldog netters sweep Bluffton

ADA - Host Ada handily defeated Bluffton 5-0 in a tennis match Tuesday evening.
The Bulldog netters improved to 10-4 with the win while the Pirates fell to 2-7 wth the defeat.
Ada won the three singles matches easily, losing just one of 37 games in the process.
Bulldog senior Cade Mullins beat Drew Wilson 6-0, 6-0 at first singles. Junior Isaac Spar took down Mack Burner 6-1, 6-0 at second singles, and sophomore Miranda Wills swept Jordan Siefer 6-0, 6-0 at third singles.
The Ada tandem of Morgan Swick and Dexter Woods swept to a two-set win at first doubles over Eden Nygaard and Grant Klinger by a 6-1, 6-4 count.
Bulldog duo Gabe Hasan and Hunter Wells also won in straight sets at second doubles over Kenny Louett and Bryan Zimmerman 6-1, 6-2.
Ada will play a rare home simultaneous doubleheader Thursday, April 25 at ONU. The Bulldog A team will take on Celina in the first round of the OTCA duals tournament, while the Bulldog B team will host Bath.
Both matches start at 4:30 p.m.
During that twinbill and the home match vs. Marysville April 26, multiple-time Ada singles state qualifier Seth Banks will be on hand to watch and speak to the Bulldogs.
