Liberty National offers free document shredding
It’s shred week at Liberty National Bank Monday, May 6, through Friday, Saturday, May 11.
The bank helps in the fight against Identity theft and fraud by sponsoring the Free Shred Your Documents Week, allowing community members to safely dispose of sensitive documents.
“We are proud to offer this service free of charge as a way to give back to our communities,” said Ronald Zimmerly, Liberty president and CEO.
Zimmerly added that identity theft and fraud are a rational fear for individuals and businesses. By simply shredding old tax records, insurance records, bank statements, cancelled checks, health records, financial documents, legal documents, and all other sensitive documents you can help stop identity thieves in their tracks.
The bank will have locked containers available that will allow you to get your documents destroyed safely and securely free of charge.
Please limit your shred to five boxes no larger than 20-inches wide and 10-inches high.
