Made in Ada Wilson Football Festival offers lots of new events

Planning is underway for the Saturday, Aug. 24, Made in Ada Wison Football Fesitval, and several new events are part of the fest. Here's a summary of the day, which takes place at three different locations in Ada.
• Wilson Football factory
• Annual garage sale – kicks off the festival at 8 a.m.
• Dial-Roberson Stadium at Ohio Northern University
• Mid-morning and early afternoon - pre-season kick-off classic scrimmage
featuring Ada HS vs. Perry HS and ONU vs. Trine University
• ONU and Ada High School marching bands will perform
• “The Wilson Experience” from the Wilson Airstream Mobile Museum. This pop-up unit will give fans an opportunity to experience first-hand some of the key steps in the making of a Wilson leather game football
• On display is the 10-foot-long football used for the “football drop"
• The Ada Depot Park
• The Wilson Airstream Mobile Unit will move to the Depot Park
• The Pro Football Hall of Fame will have a display at the Depot – prizes included
• here will be activities for football fans of all ages and interests including: tailgating games, a presentation by Wilson sports engineers, food, raffles and much more
•Some Ada businesses will have activities of their own
• From 7 to 10 p.m. Nashville Crush, will perform at the Ada Depot Park
• At 10 p.m. – The “football drop” will end the evening
