Faye Patton retired from ONU food service
Faye Patton, 76, died at 8:10 a.m. March 11, 2013, at Richland Manor Nursing Home, Bluffton.
She was born April 16, 1936, in Hardin County to Edward and Susan Allen Poe, who preceded her in death.
In October 1957, she married Malcum Patton, who survives.
Mrs. Patton retired from Ohio Northern University-Sodexho Food Service, Ada, where she worked in the catering department for 17 years. She was a 1954 graduate of McGuffey High School.
Survivors include a daughter, Robbie Patton, of Ada; a son, Malcum James "Jamie" (Michelle) Patton, of Richwood; a granddaughter, Hailey Lynn Patton; two brothers, John (Joe Ann) Poe, of Lima, and Carl (Charlotte) Poe, of Ada; six sisters, Dorothy (Bud) Garver, of Ada, Opal Holbrook, Ruby Nichols and Nancy (Harold) Yoakam, all of Alger, Mary Ann Daniels, of Roundhead, and Marsha (Randy) Phillips, of Kenton; a sister-in-law, Frances Poe, of Kenton; and a brother-in-law, Howard Biederman, of Marion.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Merlin, Bobby, Curtis and Felix Poe; and three sisters, Esther Poe, Lucille Salsbury and Shirley Biederman.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada. Minister Steve Holbrook will officiate. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and until time of services Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
