Ada golfers 3rd in NWC triangular

OTTAWA - The Ada golf team ended up third in a three-team Northwest Conference meet Tuesday hosted by Columbus Grove at Ottawa's Moose Landing Country Club.
Paulding won with 190 strokes, followed by Grove (204) and Ada (225).
Junior Brevin Sizemore led the purple and gold by carding a 53. Sophomore Dexter Woods posted a 57 while seniors Alex Morgan and Ethan Hull tallied scores of 56 and 59, respectively.
Bulldog junior Jacob Morgan also recorded a 59, while sophomore Kamron Wilkerson added a 74 to round out the Ada scores.
Panther Kolson Egnor shot a 43 to win match medalist honors. CG's Noah Macke finished a close second by posting a 44.
The Ada record dropped to 3-10 overall and 1-8 in NWC play this season with the losses. Paulding is now 9-3 in NWC play, while Grove is 4-5.
The Bulldogs are slated to play at Spencerville with Lincolnview and Paulding Wednesday afternoon in another four-team league bout.
