Homecoming tickets, volley for a cure, AMHA getting started
Here's an update on activities at Ada High School. Information is from the school website:
PRE-SALE TICKETS: for Friday’s military appreciation night football game will be on sale in the high school office from 8:15 to 3:45 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. Cost is $4 for students and $5 for adults. All tickets are $6 at the door.
VOLLEY FOR A CURE T-SHIRTS: There are orders form in the high school office. Completed order forms and money are due Thursday, Sept. 19. The game is Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 5:30 p.m., the Bulldogs verses Paulding.
NOTE FROM THE NURSE: Anyone interested in joining AMHA is invited to join our first meeting next Thursday, Sept 19, during lunch in Mrs. Bowden's room. AMHA is a student-led group that focuses on increasing mental health awareness, recognizing the warning signs of suicide, and positive action at Ada High School and within the community.
STUDENT COUNCIL HOMECOMING: Guest request forms are available in the high school office for the homecoming dance, Saturday, Oct.12. If you are planning to bring a date who does not attend Ada High School, this form needs to be filled out and returned to the high school office by Thursday, Oct. 3. A guest homecoming ticket will not be able to be purchased until a completed version of this form is on-file in the Ada High School office. Also, school fees will need to be paid before a ticket can be purchased.
September dates to remember:
20th – End of the first interim grading period
21st – Ada Harvest & Herb Festival
23rd – Music Boosters meeting, 6 p.m.
24th – 2-hour early release – Staff professional development
30th – Senior cap and gown presentation, 10 a.m.

theme is "purple out"
Wednesday: girls’ soccer with Cory Rawson -
theme is "cowboy"
Thursday: boys’ soccer and varsity volleyball, both at home; golf team at Paulding -
theme is "bulldog spirit"
Friday: football is home vs. Bluffton -
theme is "USA"
Saturday: cross country at Van Wert, varsity volleyball at Cory-Rawson
