Ohio Northern junior All-American running back Christiaan Williams (Sidney/Anna and senior kicker Tom Fleser (Sunbury/Big Walnut) have been named Ohio Athletic Conference Football Players of the Week for their efforts in Ohio Northern's 31-23 victory over Marietta on Saturday.

Williams was named the Offensive Player of the Week and Fleser was named the Special Teams Player of the Week.

Williams ran for a season-high 183 yards and a touchdown He carried the ball 30 times as ONU finished the day with 235 yards rushing and 429 yards of total offense.

Fleser averaged 61.1 yards on his 6 kickoffs. He had one touchback and another that was being fair caught in the end zone that was muffed and went out of bounds at the 1, pinning Marietta deep.

Four different ONU student-athletes have been honored as OAC Players of the Week this year.

The Polar Bears will return to action on Saturday with a 1:30 pm contest against Marietta at Dial-Roberson Stadium.
