22nd Festival of Trees opens Monday
This year's Festival of Trees at Community Health Professionals is set for 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday-Friday, Nov. 18-22. Auction will take place at CHP, 1200 S. Main.
Many decorated trees, wreaths, and holiday decor items will be up for bid. Proceeds benefit CHP hospice program. Bidding will close on Friday, Nov. 22 at 6 p.m.
The 22nd annual Festival of Trees has several events planned, in addition to the auction items.
Here's the schedule:
- Sunday, Nov. 17 - Appreciation party from 12-2 p.m. for all sponsors and volunteers, then visit with Santa from 2-4 p.m.
- Monday, Nov. 18 - Cookie Contest at 5:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, Nov. 19 - Cookie decorating with Santa, 5:30-7 p.m.
- Wednesday, Nov. 20 - Fudge contetst at 5:30 p.m.
- Thursday, Nov. 21 - Thank you Pizza Party at 5 p.m.; Closing bids, 6 p.m. Pick up items between 6-8 p.m.
- Saturday, Nov. 23 - Last chance to pick up items, 9 a.m. until noon.
The Chamber of Commerce encourages all to "Buy Local" and, in doing so, readers are supporting an effective hospice program in the community.
