Liberty National will participate in Welcome Home Program
Liberty National Bank is a participant in the Welcome Home Program, a grant sponsored by the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati, according to Ronald L. Zimmerly, LNB president and CEO.
The Welcome Home Program assists eligible homebuyers with down payment or closing costs when purchasing or buying a home.
The Welcome Home Program provides up to $5,000 in grant money for low to moderate income homebuyers and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Honorably discharged veterans and active duty military homebuyers may receive Welcome Home grants up to $7,500.
Welcome Home funds will be available starting March 1, 2020 and will end when the money is no longer available.
In addition to the grant money, Liberty National Bank is waiving one-half of the processing fee for approved first-time homebuyers who qualify for the grant in 2020.
Anyone interested in obtaining Welcome Home Program qualification guidelines or additional information about the Program should contact Angela Hersh at 419-634-5015.
Liberty National Bank operates offices in Hardin, Franklin, Logan and Union Counties.
