MARION - The Ada wrestling squad competed at the 41st annual Sally George Invitational hosted by Marion Pleasant last Friday and Saturday.

Host Pleasant won the 21-team event for the first time in 12 years with 249 points, finishing well ahead of second-place London (163.5). Ada scored nine points to finish 20th.

No Bulldogs made it to the second day of the double-elimination competition. 

Antonio Pettit (113), Cameron Bober (152) and Jonathan McClain (220) each won one match for Ada.

The Bulldog varsity grapplers return to action Saturday, February 15 with the Northwest Conference championship meet at Columbus Grove.
