The Lima YMCA will be the host site for the Ohio High School Athletic Association’s D-II Section 5 Sectional meet from 11 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8.

There will be 14 teams with a total of 237 swimmers from the following schools:

Ada, Celina, Elida, Fostoria, Kenton, Lima Bath, Lima Central Catholic, Lima Shawnee, Marion Local, Minster, New Bremen, Ridgemont, St. Henry and St. Marys Memorial. 

Events start at 11 a.m. with medley relays, 200 freestyle, 200 individual medley, 50 free, 100 butterfly, 100 freestyle, 500 freestyle, 200 free relay, 100 backstroke, 100 breast stroke and 400 free relay. The top two swimmers in each event move on to districts later in February.

Cost for spectators is $6 per person. Tickets can be purchased on line at www.ohsaa.org/tickets or at the door.
