A one-of-a-kind football
This football is one-of-a-kind.
It’s a customized football used in Ada’s world record football toss. It’s on its way to the Guinness World Record Museum.
In case you need a refresher course, here’s the story:
In late December Ada joined the record books, not just any record book – the Guinness World Record Book.
Many viewers reading this participated in the record-setting event. It was on Friday, Oct. 25, 2019, at War Memorial Stadium.
On that autumn afternoon 950 people simultaneously threw an American football – coincidentally, an Ada-made Wilson football – and the rest is history.
The brainchild of Dan Lee, Ada middle and high school principal, Guinness notified him of the success of the project, calling it “officially amazing.”
