Seven AHS artists in Kewpee HS Invitation Exhibit
Seven Ada High School artists had works accepted in this winter’s Kewpee High School Invitational Exhibit. Three were award-winners in the show, which closes on Friday at ArtSpace/Lima, according to Gary Wells, high school art teacher.
Ada award winners follow:
• Brenna Hissong, first place in sculpture, work titled “Free Form”
• Isabella Mancuso, first place in drawing, work titled “Self Portrait”
• Kendal Guagenti, first place in mixed media, work titled “Self Portrait with Butterflies”
Four other Ada art students had works accepted into the show. They are Kyle Colwell, Isaac Williams, Nora Dellifield and Katie Butterfield.
Artists from other area schools
• From Upper Scioto Valley High School: Olivia Whiting, Chyenne Lawrence and Anna Stone.
• From Allen East High School: Amber Hardeman, Mollie Evans, Torrance Kersker and Julie Moeller.
• From Ridgemont High School: Lillian Craig, Nicole Freshcorn, Cameron Lowery.
This year’s show had students from 20 area school show their works. Mike Huffman was the juror for the show.
