‘Virtual Experiences with Park District’ begins launched
The Hancock Park District (HPD) is launching a new opportunity to experience nature and history-based programs and events from the comfort of your own home.
“Virtual Experiences with the Hancock Park District” launched Friday, March 20, via Facebook Live at https://www.facebook.com/HancockParkDistrict.
The virtual program will be offered every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 1 p.m. with a different focus for each two-to-three-minute segment. Following the live event, each video will be archived on the HPD Facebook page and in mp4 format at www.HancockParks.com.
Monday’s segments will be “Discovery Stories” featuring a nature-based story and activity for younger ages and the young-at-heart.
“Way Back Wednesdays” will allow the viewer to step back in time to Northwest Ohio, c.1847, with historic reenactment at the McKinnis Farm at Litzenberg Memorial Woods.
On Fridays, curl up in a cozy chair for “Hit the Trail” as we lead you on an outdoor adventure in the Hancock Park System.
All ages are welcome. “Virtual Experiences with the Hancock Park District” are free for all and registration is not required.
