County opens medical supply donation site
OhioHealth Hardin Memorial Hospital and the Kenton-Hardin Health Department announced the opening of a temporary donation site to provide a safe, convenient way to donate needed medical supplies while honoring the Governor and the State's directives on social distancing and group gatherings.
To drop off a donation please come to the main entrance of the Sherriff Office located at 1025 S. Main St., Kenton.
Donations can be dropped off in the tubs located in the interview room just inside the lobby. The site is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and will remain open until further notice.
Donations could include the following new, unopened medical supplies:
o N-95 Masks
o Face Shields
o Surgery Masks
o Procedure Masks
o Medical Eyewear/Glasses
o Isolation Gowns
o Medical Coveralls
o Exam Gloves (S,M,L)
o Hand Sanitizer
o Soap
o Bleach
o Toilet Paper
o Biohazard Bags
o Disposable Lab Coats
o Nebulizers
Other supplies needed:
o Ziploc bags
o Large Trash bags
o Bandannas
o Safety Glasses
o Cleaning wipes/Lysol Spray
o Gloves of any type (nitrile, latex, food handling)
o Aloe & Rubbing Alcohol
o Shower caps
o Rain ponchos
o Shoe covers
