Icon seeks reviewers with opinions
• Can you review movies?
• How about pop singers?
• Or, books?
Do you watch lots of movies and have your own opinions about them?
Do you listen to the latest preforming groups or solo acts ... or know what group is performing where, next?
Do you read book after book after book and have your own thoughts on them?
The Bluffton and Ada Icon seeks reviewers interested in writing movie reviews, music reviews and book reviews. No, not one to write each of the three; one for movies, one for music, and one for books.
Here’s the best part: You may use a pen name. No one will know your identify.
Here’s the worst part: No pay.
But, what do you have to lose? If you enjoy doing this, it will be fun.
And, here's really the best part: Your strength may be knowledge of your subject -–that's more important that your ability to write. So, if you don't think you can write, don't worry. We'll help with the writing part.
Contact the Icon at either:
• [email protected], or
• [email protected]
for any of these spots. Your reviews will be posted on both Icons.
Send a sample review of a movie, musician/album/concert or book review.
More about movie reviews:
We’ll accept reviews of new movies, and even classics. You may set up a rating system of 1 to 5 stars and, yes, if you can’t stand the movie, that’s okay so long as you can support your claim.
More about music reviews:
Quite honestly, we are trying to attract younger viewers. We are open to any type of music to review and are open to exploring appropriate social medias to help promote your reviews. High school-age and junior high writers are encouraged to give it try.
More about book reviews:
What's your favorite genre? Mystery, thrillers, historical fiction, romance, children's books? We are interested in any, or all of these.
Have more questions? Contact the Icons. (We will even permit you to name the review column).
