Ready, Set, Grow Preschool located at 301 N. Main St., Ada, released the following policies for families related to reducing the spread of COVID-19.

PICK UP AND DROP OFF
All students will need to be walked in to and out of the building by an adult. Masks or shields will be worn by everyone over the age of 10 during pick-up and drop-off.

Student temperatures will be taken at drop-off. If a student has a temperature over 100 degrees F, they will be unable to attend until they have been fever-free for 24 hours without fever-reducing medicine.

Students will wash hands upon entering the classroom and before leaving.

CLASSROOM SAFETY
Teachers will take temperatures daily before entering the classroom. If a teacher has a temperature over 100 degrees F, they will be unable to attend until they have been fever-free for 24 hours without fever-reducing medicine.

Teachers will wear face shields or masks while in the center when children are present. 

Students will be required to wear a face shield (not a mask) during school hours. Face shields will not be worn during meals, snacks, or nap time. Shields will stay in the cubbies and teachers will sanitize these daily.

Each child will be given one lion face shield to wear during school hours. This will be personalized with their name. Parents are encouraged to make a donation of $6 to cover the cost of their child’s shield. 

Plastic table dividers will be used to help with social distancing during meals and center time. Seating will be assigned as we are able to do so.

Each child will be given their own pencil pouch which will include scissors, markers, crayons, pencils, dry erase markers, and a glue stick.

Children will be spaced apart during calendar time and free play as much as possible. Children will be wearing a face shield so this will help with times they cannot remain six feet apart.

Surfaces and toys will be sanitized regularly throughout the day.

Children will wash hands regularly throughout the day.

SNACKS AND MEALS
Gloves will be worn by teachers during meal and snack times.

Parents are responsible to bring snacks at least twice a month (including a half gallon of milk). The preference is that snacks be pre-bagged by the manufacturer. Please be aware of nut and other allergies when purchasing snacks. We prefer healthier snacks. Please refer to the handbook for more information.

For students who will eat lunch at the center, please bring your own silverware and pack a balanced lunch. It is our preference that the children are able to open all meal items themselves when possible.

DONATIONS OF CLEANING SUPPLIES
The preschool is always thankful for the donations by families and community members of paper towels, hand soap, disinfecting wipes, bleach, alcohol wipes, and tissues.

Registrations are being accepted for the 2020-21 school year. There are limited spaces due to the COVID-19 restrictions. There will be an Open House BY APPOINTMENT ONLY on August 13, 2020.  Please contact Cristal to schedule an appointment at 567-674-7474.

The first day of classes will be Monday, Aug. 17. The school year ends on May 28, 2021. There are classes for ages 3-5 years and after school students grades K-5. Ready, Set, Grow Preschool offers flexible schedules to meet your needs. Hours are Monday through Friday 7:15 a.m. – 5:45 p.m.

Registration is guaranteed when your deposit is paid and your student’s days of attendance have been confirmed.

Half Day care $19 per day (2.5-4.5 hours)

2 days $950 per year ($95 per month)
3 days $1050 per year (105 per month)
4 days $1367 per year (136.70 per month)
5 days $1,684 per year ($168.40 per month).

After School $32 per week or $10 per day
