In the heart of Ada 70 years ago
You have to be a long-time Ada resident to recognize this once-familiar business, Hal and Jean's Barbecue. It was located a 111 Central Aveue and had an easy phone number to remember: 4521. Just don't try dialing it; you'll need an operator's assistance.
This advertisement is from the Ada High School yearbook of 1951. In the photo are Janice Irwin, serving the boss's daughter, Jean Van Atta.
