It's Ada over Spencerville in three

Light has 14 kills, 9 digs, 3 blocks • Wills 12 digs, 7 kills, 3 aces • Poling 23 assists, 9 digs • Acheson 11 digs, 4 kills

SPENCERVILLE - The visiting Ada volleyball team swept Spencerville to win a Northwest Conference spike tilt Thursday night.

Ada won 25-16, 25-18, 25-20 to up the Lady Bulldog overall record to 8-10 overall and 2-5 in NWC play.  

Spencerville fell to 2-15 and 0-7 in the NWC with the defeat.         
Senior middle Megan Light led Ada with 14 kills, nine digs and three blocks. Versatile senior Miranda Wills amassed 12 digs,  hit for seven kills and served three aces. 

Junior setter Kirsten Poling passed out 23 assists and also came up with nine digs.

Senior Kylie Acheson hustled her way to 11 digs and also slammed four kills. Sophomore Courtney Sumner knocked down five kills and addded two blocks.

Junior Alexis White hustled up nine dugs, while senior Leona Dalton dealt a pair of aces.

The Ada girls are now 4-5 on the road and 4-5 at home.     

The Bulldog reserves won 2-0 to improve to 6-12.    

Ada hosts talented Lincolnview (16-1, 6-0 NWC) Tuesday, October 13 in the NWC season finale.
