John McClain, head coach, provided addition details that follow:
This is for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade. All experience levels, from beginner to advanced, are welcome to participate The club accepts boys and girls from Ada and all surrounding communities.
We are a member of the Miami Valley Kids Wrestling Association (MVKWA based in Dayton). The MVKWA has more than 70 clubs that participate in local tournaments weekly from January through February/early March.
Our goal is to teach your child how to wrestle and compete safely while practicing sportsmanship.
Each child will be taught the basic techniques and skills needed to be competitive at their skill level. As your child’s skill level advances, so will the level of training he or she will receive.
We will monitor each child during the season and provide individual attention with our experienced coaching staff. This season we have hopes of more participants and community support to help guide our youth.
Our area has many successful wrestling programs and we are proud to be a part of that group.
