Three ONU alums have award-winning art
Three Ohio Northern alumni received awards at this year’s Findlay Art League fall juried show. Photos of the three artist's work are at the bottom of this story.
Ed Corle (BFA ’78), received a third place, with his “Serving Bowl” in ceramic.
Harry Melroy (BA ’72), received a merit award, with his “Sisters of the Magic Meadow,” acrylic painting.
Laura Barnhart Corle (BFA ’77), received an honorable mention, with her“Red Fertilizer Truck,” water color/gouache.
The annual fall show runs now through Saturday, Nov. 21, at the gallery located at 117 W. Crawford St., Findlay.
Gallery hours are Tuesdays through Fridays from noon to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays noon to 4 p.m.
