Mark Ritchie 1984-2020
Mark Douglas Ritchie, 36, passed away on Tuesday, Nov.17, 2020, at 6:41 p.m. at his residence in Bluffton.
He was born on July 22, 1984 in Kenton to Dale Ritchie of Alger and Shelly (Carmean) Ritchie of Ada.
Mark worked for A-Z Meats in Bluffton. He loved to cook and try ethnic foods. He was the “family computer guy” and Mark adored his niece Bayleigh. “You were a great big brother. You were going to be a great uncle to Bayleigh, but now you get to be a great uncle to my Little Autumn. Our hearts are hurting so much and we don’t know how to move forward. We don’t know how to continue our lives without you. I pray you’re at peace and I pray one day our family finds peace with your loss. We love and miss you so much Mark.”
Also surviving is his maternal grandmother, Nancy Tarr; two sisters: Amber Ritchie of Ada and Lindsey Ritchie of Spencerville; and a niece, Bayleigh Gay.
Mark was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Ervin and Dorothy Ritchie; maternal grandfather, Jim Carmean; and a niece, Autumn Nicole.
It was Mark’s wish to be cremated.
