Teri Sue Hites-Suter was a USV graduate
Terri Sue Hites-Suter, 72, died Dec. 17, 2020, at Lima Memorial Health System. Terri was born August 18, 1948, in Bellefontaine, Ohio, to the late David and Myra (Cox) Grant. On Sept. 25, 2000 she married Walter "Steve" Suter who survives.
Terri graduated from Upper Scioto Valley High School and later graduated from beauty school. Terri had taught at Ohio State Beauty Academy in Lima and retired from Hardin County Job and Family Services. She was a member of the Roundhead United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Walter "Steve" Suter of Bluffton; three daughters, Wendy (Ronnie) Parker of Belle Center, Kimberly (Kyle) Murphy of Pandora, Kellie (Shane) Reed of Harrod; two step-daughters, Kelly (Aaron) Williams of Rockport, Penny (Chad) Ward of Findlay, eight grandchildren, Ciarra Evans, Seth (Molly) Evans, Jarod Murphy, Alexis Reed, Grant Murphy, Devin Reed, Jocelyn Ward, Jessa Ward; a great-grandson, Jackson Evans and a brother, Kerri (Darlene) Grant of Marysville, Ohio.
Terri was preceded in death by her previous husband, Jerry Hites; a grandson, Jaeden Ward; a son-in-law, Norman W. Evans and a sister, Sherri Lytle.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 22, at the Roundhead United Methodist Church, 2254 OH-385, Waynesfield, from 2 - 4 p.m. A private service will be held at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to LifeLine of Ohio.org.
