Anthony C. “Tony” Simon, 65, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021, at 3:01 a.m. at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.

He was born on Sept. 4, 1955, in Allen County, Ohio to the late Sylvan and Wanda (Morrison) Simon. On July 5, 2013, Tony married Linda Ries and she survives in Ada.

Tony retired from Associated Plastics of Ada. He was a loyal Cleveland Brown’s fan.

Also surviving are his two daughters: Casey (Andrew) Smith of Delphos and Jessica (Isaiah) Fensler of Fostoria; two step daughters: Haley (Blake) Hunt of Alger and Katelyn Baumlein of Findlay; a brother, Michael (Kimberly) Simon of Ada; and nine grandchildren: Troy, Elle and baby boy Smith, Kaiden, Kamren, Adia, Cole, Chloe and Zara.

Tony was preceded in death by two brothers: Charles “Butch” Simon and David Simon; and a sister, Cathy Robirds.

It was Tony’s wish to be cremated.  Private family services will be held at a later date.
