The Icon takes a walk down Main Street
There’s plenty to see is in downtown Ada.
The Icon asked our spring intern, Mana Hashimoto, to take a walk and see for herself. The senior writing and multimedia studies major at Ohio Northern took her video camera with her.
She shares her walk, probably very similar to those you’ve taken. It started at the Ada Theatre, eventually crossing the railroad tracks, and continuing to the stop light at First United Methodist Church and Quest Federal Credit Union.
Then she crossed the street and returned to campus.
Mana did some window shopping on the way. Watch her video attached below.
Mana tells use she came to ONU because her older brother attended here. She’s from the city of Mie, Japan, with a population of 1.7 million. So, as you might expect, small-town living is a new experience.
Following graduation this spring Mana hopes to return to Japan where she will look for full-time employment in her profession.
